💡 Why have I received an invoice from beppo?

beppo is a digital platform that offers property owners, administrations, and authorized users of parking spaces a simple and fair way to report unauthorized parking.
This invoice was issued on this basis.

Our client has commissioned beppo with the administrative processing and collection of this claim. This means: beppo acts on behalf of the parking space owners or the responsible administration.

🅿️ What counts as unauthorized parking?

Parking in the appropriately marked zone is exclusively reserved for customers and visitors who are actually present on the premises or in the corresponding business during the parking time.

This regulation ensures that the limited parking spaces are available to those for whom they are intended – namely the visitors and customers of the respective company.

🚫 Not permitted is parking, for example:

• to visit nearby shops

• for private errands outside the area

• to park the vehicle long-term

Such behavior is considered unauthorized and may result in a warning or an administrative fee.

🎟️ Special regulation: parking zones with ticket machines

In certain parking zones (clearly signposted), parking is only permitted after payment of the parking fee at the ticket machine.

Please note:

• 🧾 The parking receipt must – depending on the machine – be clearly visible on the dashboard.

• 🔢 When purchasing the ticket, the complete license plate number (including canton abbreviation) must be entered correctly.

  • Incorrect or incomplete entries are considered invalid and lead to a parking violation.

💬 If you have made a payment, please send us a copy of the payment receipt (photo or scan) so that we can review the case.
Without valid proof, the issued invoice remains payable.

📱 Special regulation: parking zones with QR code registration

In certain zones (also clearly signposted), parking is only permitted after registration via a QR code.

Here’s how it works:

1. 📷 Scan the QR code with your smartphone camera

2. 🔢 Enter the complete license plate number (including canton abbreviation)

3. ✅ Receive confirmation with the authorized parking period

⚠️ Important:

• Incomplete or incorrect entries also result in a parking violation.

• Parking without successful registration or after the time has expired is not permitted.

💰 Why is a fee charged?

Unauthorized parking causes administrative effort for owners or administrations – such as for control, documentation, and processing.

The issued invoice represents a compensation for this effort.
Our client asks you to pay the amount within the specified deadline to avoid further costs.

⏱️ I was only there briefly – do I still have to pay?

Yes. Even a short unauthorized parking is not permitted.
Since this is private property, the ownership decides on the terms of use – similar to a house right.

Even a few minutes without authorization can be considered a violation of the parking rules.
